- December 8. This is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and falls on a Tuesday. It is a Special Non-working Holiday. Since it is a Tuesday you can take leave on Monday and enjoy a 4-day off.
- December 24 and 25. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is a holiday in the Philippines. These days fall on a Thursday and a Friday which can give you a potential 4-day off or even more.
- December 30 and 31. Rizal Day (December 30) and New Year’s Eve are also both Holidays. With the additional New Year Holiday on January 1, you do have a 5-day off.
If you really want to maximize your holiday and your work is from Monday to Friday, what we recommend is to possibly take a day-off on December 28 and 29 (Monday and Tuesday). If you will do this you can have a very long vacation starting from December 24 until January 1 or a total of an 8-day off.
